Supreme Court Decision on Voter IDs - What It Means
for Minnesota
The
United States Supreme Court has finally issued a ruling
on the constitutionality of requiring photo IDs from
individuals before they are allowed to vote. In a 6
- 3 decision on Monday, April 28, 2008, the Supreme
Court upheld the right of Indiana to require photo IDs
from individuals before voting. On Wednesday,
May 7, Professor David Schultz will present on the implications
of this important Supreme Court decision and what it
means for Minnesota.
Come
learn more about this issue and how nonprofits can respond
to the looming threat of voter IDs in Minnesota.
