Conference Request for Proposals
MCN is now seeking proposals and ideas for session presenters at the 2008 Nonprofit Leadership Conference - The Future of Leadership. We are particularly interested in session ideas that are current, engaging and offer practical elements for participants to use. Out-of-the box ideas and learning methods are welcomed! The deadline for submitting a proposal is Wednesday, March 26 at 5 p.m. central time.

We are looking for sessions that address the following topics:

• Executive Transitions
• Financial Leadership
• Cross Sector Partnerships
• Integrative Leadership
• Engaging Communities
• Leading from the Middle
• Technology
• Social Networking
• Intergenerational Views of Leadership
• Staff Leadership Development
• Cross-Issue Leadership
• The Future of Leadership
• And more!

To submit a proposal, complete a brief online survey about your session ideas and presentation background. You will be asked to provide the following information and answer the following questions in the online proposal:

1. Proposed Session Title

2. Track – Marketing and Communications, Fundraising, Leadership, Program Delivery, Demonstration/Skill-building

3. Session Type – Formal Presentation, Group Discussion, Panel

4. Session description as it could appear in the conference program (250 words or less)

5. What are the three learning objectives for this session?

6. What level best describes the target audience for this session? - Beginner, intermediate, advanced

7. What organization size best describes the target audience for this session? - Small, medium, large

8. Information about you, including contact information, your experience with the proposed topic, your speaking experience and your bio

9. Information about co-presenters including their contact information, their experience with the proposed topic, their speaking experience and their bio(s)

Who will attend the conference? 
This conference is designed for nonprofit leaders (staff, board members, and volunteers) at any stage -- emerging, mid-career or established -- and in any role within an organization who are interested in authentic leadership and unexplored leadership possibilities.
