Patient Service Specialist

JOB TITLE: Patient Service Specialist
LOCATION: Twin Cities Metro

TYPE: Full Time    DEADLINE: 8/28/2010

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Save Lives. Fulfill Yours. The Patient Service Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for patient related incoming calls and service requests for patients, survivors, and caregivers. The specialist will fulfill requests for programs; information and services including coordination of referrals to resources follow up contact and documentation. Responsibilities include completing basic needs assessment for all contacts from patient survivors and caregivers to the Patient Service Center, establishing relationships with constituents seeking information and services and refers patient survivors and caregivers for additional assistance as appropriate, and facilitates constituent access to available ACS and non-ACS services and programs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 - 3 years customer service or social service experience preferred. Knowledge of human behavior, social services, community organization, healthcare systems and customer relations and experience in a service center environment preferred. Spanish speaking bilingual preferred.
