Children’s Safety Centers’ mission is to provide safe haven for children and adults during parental visitation. CSC provides safe access for children to visit their non-custodial parent in cases of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, chemical dependency, mental illness, domestic violence, or extended parent-child separation. Core services include Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange.

PRIMARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Children’s Safety Centers (CSC) is seeking an experienced fundraiser to implement a fundraising strategy to expand philanthropic support for the organization. Manages all aspects of CSC’s fund development program including (but not limited to): annual giving, planned giving, major individual and corporate gifts, corporate and foundation grants, events management, donor relations, and community outreach and marketing. Manages (directly or indirectly) all staff and volunteers associated with development activities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and implement annual fundraising plan • Research, write, and submit grants • Manage grant and contract reporting requirements • Organize and manage annual and special campaigns • Maintain donor contact database • Foster community outreach through engagement in community groups, collaborations, and the media • Produce and distribute newsletter and other marketing materials • Plan and execute events such as annual golf tournament, funder appreciation events, or open houses
EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 3-7 years fundraising & grant writing experience • Demonstrated success in securing government, corporate, foundation, and individual gifts • Experience and success with individual and major giving • Knowledge of Minnesota funding community • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and common graphics software • Passion for child safety and parental access
