ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
We have been retained by a dynamic and growing Christian non-profit hunger relief organization to assist in the recruitment of a Director of Finance & Accounting.



JOB TITLE: Director of Finance & Accounting
LOCATION: Twin Cities Metro

SALARY: $63-70,000    TYPE: Full Time    DEADLINE: 8/28/2010

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this ‘Position with Purpose’, you will be a critical member of the collaborative senior management team responsible for planning, organizing and leading the accounting functions of this fast-growing organization. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and will partner with the Development, Operations, Marketing and Administration areas of the organization. A strong commitment to support the Christian mission and goals of the organization is required to be successful in this role. Offices are located in Coon Rapids, MN

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Commitment to support, promote and authentically communicate the organization’s Christian mission and goals
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible accounting management experience; non-profit experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience in leading and managing rapidly expanding, complex work environments with significant numbers of staff
• Proven experience in business planning, financial analysis, and capital management
