Training and Education Center Intern

JOB TITLE: Training and Education Center Intern
LOCATION: Twin Cities Metro

SALARY: unpaid    TYPE: Intern / 6 hours    DEADLINE: 9/27/2010

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support in Training and Education Center. Work to develop the curriculums for new trainings and classes. Assist with teaching the trainings or classes offered as needed. Assist in client hiring process that includes: helping with job applications, job fairs, interviews, resume building, and drafting cover letters. Must be passionate about helping people find jobs and increase their employability skills. Main focus is teaching and curriculum development.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
College student or above. Past or current course work in Social Services, Education, or other related fields. Ability to find transportation to and from our offices required. High comfort level with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience working with ESL populations or interpreters a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Schedule:Flexible; weekdays between 9:00AM – 4:30PM. Hours are open to discussion.
