July 20 conference: New Picture of Government Funding

How is the unallotment affecting nonprofits?

Governor Pawlenty announced his plan for solving the remaining state budget deficit through an unprecedented move of unallotment. Some of the major components include cuts and shifts to K-12 education, higher education local government aid, renters' credit, state agencies, and 28 separate unallotment proposals for health and human services. MCN's Minnesota Budget Project is on top of the analysis of what this means.
