Cities Nonprofit Census Open House
Census forms will start arriving the week of March 15 and need to
be returned by April 1. The U.S. Census Bureau has been clear for
months that it is counting on nonprofits to lead their communities
toward full participation in the 2010 Census.
Get ready for
Be
Counted Week (March 22-26) by attending the Nonprofit Census
Open House March 18.
Special guest
St. Paul Councilmember Melvin Carter III will kick-off
the event at 9:00 AM. During the Open House we’ll have materials
for you to take back to your office to promote the Census. We'll
also have staff members available to answer any questions you might
have about the Census and how it affects your participants.

Census: The Count Begins Webinar
As the 2010 census gets underway, nonprofits can play a pivotal
role in convincing hard-to-count populations that participation
is easy, important, and safe. In this webinar, we will focus on
counting operations from March through June and discuss ways nonprofits
can help people fill out their census forms and improve response
in the communities they serve. Presented by the Nonprofit
Voter Engagement Network.

Invest
in Minnesota Messaging Training
