About MCN

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) was founded in 1987 to meet the increasing information needs of nonprofits and to convene nonprofits to address issues facing the sector. MCN is the statewide association of more than 1,850 member nonprofit organizations. Through its Web site, resource publications, workshops and events, cost-saving programs and advocacy, MCN continually works to inform, promote, connect and strengthen individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector.

MCN Privacy Policy
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) values the privacy of our members, customers and visitors. Most data MCN collects are used only to help us better serve our members and the nonprofit sector. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information (including email addresses) that is knowingly provided to us. MCN also collects organizational information for research and member services. 

MCN makes organizational contact information available through the Minnesota Nonprofit Directory and online Member Directory. MCN also occasionally makes mailing lists available to third parties. These lists are limited to executive director names, organization names and postal addresses. Email addresses, phone and fax numbers are not made available to third parties. Any organization may request their information to be omitted from lists provided to third parties by contacting Christine Durand at cdurand@mncn.org or 651-642-1904 and expressing their preference not to have their information shared.  

MCN does not disclose credit card account information provided by its members and customers. When members and customers choose to pay by credit card, MCN submits this information directly to a secure credit card processor.
